WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Blacks in the Scriptures and don’t let the fancy website fool you. We’re no big corporation trying to get rich. We just believe in giving the very best we have for the building of the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You will find items for sale just like any church bookstores, and like them, our manufactures won’t give us the products free. In addition, each sale helps us to donate, package and ship 3 free DVD sets and wristbands, for every one purchased, to those around the country and the world who cannot afford them. We are now in 27 countries, which may demonstrate the global interest in this topic. We’ve made covenants with the Lord to do our best and give our all in building His kingdom, and we’re simply doing all that we can to honor those covenants and promises.

WHY THIS WEBSITE

There’s a lot of information on this site in addition to the content of the DVD series and so we wanted to explain why this site exists. And it’s simple. It’s no secret that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had issues with racial equality, as have most churches in the United States. It is one of the biggest issues plaguing the church primarily because the members don’t know how to answer the questions had by family, friends and neighbors etc. that might have an interest in the church or just want to converse about the issue. There is a wealth of information, ideas and thoughts on the internet and in bookstores, but we wanted to provide a resource for those inside and outside of the church who truly want to understand these issues with truth from the scriptures, accurately documented history and with no fear of sharing truth. That’s it.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND

We’ve tried to provide enough information to help all visitors to understand that God loves all of His children equally and He always has. In addition we believe that understanding that those of African descent have been contributors and participants in Biblical history and historical events that many may not be aware of. It’s our hope that discovering some of these truths on our site will help all in the human family feel closer to one another and come to know that we are all truly one.
